Susan Burkett

Susan Burkett, CSP, is a Principal Engineer at August Mack Environmental, Inc., where responsibilities include implementing the eCAP® program, ensuring compliance with corporate strategies, and providing high-level customer support while identifying business opportunities across various environmental services. With a strong background in engineering and management, Susan previously served as Senior Engineer and Office Manager, overseeing business development and project management. Early career experience includes a role as Staff Research Analyst at Presearch, Inc., assisting the Naval Sea Systems Command on environmental issues, and as a Civil Engineer at Science Applications International Corporation. Susan holds a Master’s degree in Civil (Environmental) Engineering from Virginia Tech and a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, graduating Cum Laude from The George Washington University.
