Alexander Schwarzmann

Dean, School of Computer & Cyber Sciences at Augusta University

Alexander Schwarzmann is the current Dean of the School of Computer & Cyber Sciences at Augusta University. Alexander is also a Co-Founder of Voting Systems Security LLC, which specializes in security and integrity analysis of electronic voting systems used in official elections. Prior to their current positions, Schwarzmann served as the Department Head of Computer Science & Engineering at the University of Connecticut and as a Visiting Scientist at the MIT Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Lab.

Alexander Schwarzmann received their Ph.D. in Computer Science from Brown University. Alexander then completed a post-doctoral fellowship at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in the same field. Schwarzmann went on to earn an M.S. in Computer Science from Cornell University, and finally, a B.S. with High Honor in Computer Science from Stevens Institute of Technology.

Alexander Schwarzmann reports to Neil J. Mackinnon, EVP, Academic Affairs & Provost. They work with Judi Wilson - Dean, College of Education, Lester Pretlow - Dean, College of Allied Health Sciences, and Carol A. Lefebvre - Dean, Dental College of Georgia.
