Michael Gapen

Michael Gapen is the Trustee at Augustana College. Prior to that, they were the Managing Director, US Economic Research and Global Asset Allocation at Barclays from April 2010 to November 2014. Michael was also the Section Chief, Monetary and Financial Market Analysis at Federal Reserve Board from September 2008 to April 2010. Michael Gapen has also worked as an economist at International Monetary Fund from June 2000 to August 2008 and as a visiting assistant professor at University of Notre Dame from August 1998 to June 2000.

Michael Gapen received their PhD in Economics from Indiana University Bloomington and their BA in Economics and Business Administration from Augustana College.
