Mahesh Chand

Mr. Mahesh Chand served in several executive administrative capacities for more than three decades and retired from the Indian Administrative Services in 2012. Mr. Chand brings over 40 years of extensive executive management experience and unprecedented interdisciplinary support to AUM LifeTech.

Prior to joining AUM LifeTech, Mr. Chand has served in various administrative positions including strategy planning, management, and public administration with the Government of Uttar Pradesh in India. He has worn several executive management caps during his time in various district units and the state capital Lucknow. Mr. Chand served as a Special Secretary to the government of Uttar Pradesh with several government agencies and directly handled the financial affairs. During his tenure, Mr. Chand settled hundreds of human resource and establishment-related matters and was instrumental in the incorporation of administrative governance for key government agencies. He has successfully headed several multi-million dollar deals on negotiations, land acquisition, and compensation within government and private organizations.

Further, during his time at Meerut district, Mr. Chand headed the Municipal Corporation of Meerut as the Municipal Commissioner where he chaired, supervised, and administered a workforce catering to the civic needs of 1.5 million residents. He also served as the Vice-Chairman of Bulandshahr-Khurja Development Authority and lead the enforcement and regulation of the city’s master plan for over 4 years. As an executive in these development authorities, he conceptualized and executed several residential and commercial schemes, including land acquisition, financing, and construction of properties.
