Daniel Young

Daniel Young has extensive experience in the healthcare field, specializing in phlebotomy and patient care. Currently serving as a Phlebotomy Instructor at AUMT Institute since May 2019, Daniel teaches students the techniques and principles of blood drawing to prepare them for the NHA certification. Prior to this role, Daniel worked as a CPT1 at Sharp Memorial Hospital from May 2012 to November 2019, where responsibilities included drawing blood for patients and maintaining equipment. Daniel's earlier experience includes serving as a CNA at Promise Hospital of San Diego and working as a Phlebotomist/Med Lab Tech at Grossmont Health Occupation Center. Daniel holds two Bachelor of Arts degrees in Theatre from the University of Minnesota and Minnesota State University Moorhead.
