Alistair Bakherad

Alistair Bakherad serves as the Engineering Manager at Aura Energy Limited since July 2022. Previously, Alistair held the position of Lead Mechanical Project Engineer at Wood from January 2011 to July 2022, and served as a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Gasco Pty Ltd between January 2009 and December 2010, focusing on combustion and heat transfer equipment. Alistair's earlier experience includes roles as a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Jahanpars Engineering & Construction Company, contributing to the Bidboland II Gas Treating Plant, and at PGEI Group (Reactorsaz), working on phases 6 to 10 of the South Pars Gas Development offshore facilities. Alistair Bakherad earned a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Tehran and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the same institution. Currently, Alistair is pursuing a Master of Business Administration at the Melbourne Business School.
