Lucia Modesto

Lucia Modesto has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Lucia currently holds a position as a Program Manager at Greater NY since 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Leadership Coach and Meditation Coach at Aura Health, providing virtual one-on-one coaching and sound meditation services to clients worldwide. Lucia also worked as a Leadership Coach and Sound Practitioner at LMN Advisory, LLC, where they helped creative leaders transform limiting beliefs and find mental clarity through the power of sound and meditation. Additionally, they served as a Co-Author and Steering Committee Member at The Leadership Circle, contributing to a capacity-building program for Coro BIPOC Alum. Furthermore, they gained valuable experience as a Global Social Impact Fellow at MovingWorlds, where they coached and consulted with organizations in Uganda and Guatemala on leadership and community-led social enterprise. Prior to that, they worked as a Partnerships Manager and Account Executive at FreeWill, managing relationships and executing fundraising strategies. Lucia also participated in the Coro Leadership NY program at Coro New York Leadership Center, developing leadership skills and building a multi-sector network in New York City. Before that, they worked at DonorsChoose.org, first as a Partnerships Manager, then as a Partnerships Associate, and finally as a Business Development Associate. In these roles, they managed partnerships, renewed funding, and cultivated relationships with various corporate and foundation partners. Lucia also played a key role in prospecting and cultivating relationships to meet fundraising goals. Their earlier experiences include working as a Teaching Artist at Urban Arts Partnership and as the Director of Operations at Project Creo of Arts InterFACE Inc., where they presented business plans, organized fundraising efforts, and oversaw technological systems. Throughout their career, Lucia Modesto has demonstrated a commitment to leadership development, social impact, and the use of sound and meditation practices in promoting personal growth and transformation.

Lucia Modesto obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Music Education K-12 from New York University, where they studied from 2010 to 2014. In addition to their degree, they also earned a certification in Global Social Impact from MovingWorlds Institute in April 2021.
