Loewen Cavill has worked in a variety of roles since 2017. In that year, they worked as a Solar Panels Researcher at the MIT Photovoltaic Research Laboratory. In 2018, they held positions as a Data Science Researcher at Trancik Lab and a Mechanical Engineer at Optimus Ride. In 2019, they worked as a Partner at Dorm Room Fund, a Tech Investor at Bessemer Venture Partners, and a Levitation Controls Engineer at MIT Hyperloop II. In 2020, they held positions as a System Engineer and Mechanical Engineer at Wing, as well as a Manufacturing Engineer at Commonwealth Fusion Systems. In 2021, they worked as a Fellow at Interact, and in 2022 they became Cofounder & CEO of Amira.
Loewen Cavill graduated from Milford High School with a High School Diploma in Math and Science. Loewen then went on to pursue a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering with Robotics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Loewen is currently enrolled in the MassChallenge program.
