About the Role:

This position is an opportunity to directly contribute to the quality and reliability of Pango's software products, ensuring a better user experience.  The person we hire will gain hands-on experience with popular automation tools and frameworks while working closely with an excellent team.

  • Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using JavaScript and Python.
  • Collaborate with the development team to understand application features and create comprehensive test plans.
  • Identify, document, and track bugs to ensure software quality and reliability.
  • Perform regression testing and validate new features to ensure existing functionality is not affected.
  • Maintain and update existing test automation frameworks and scripts.
  • Analyze test results, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to improve the software development process.
  • Work closely with other QA engineers, developers, and product managers to ensure timely and effective testing.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the overall improvement of the testing process.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Approximately 3 years of experience in QA automation.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript and Python for automation scripting.
  • Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and practices.
  • Experience with test automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, or similar.
  • Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git.
  • Knowledge of performance and load testing tools.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Experience with API testing and tools like Postman or similar.
  • Understanding of DevOps practices and tools.

Pay range for this position is $65,000 - $80,000 on-target earnings per year but may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
