Cheri Hobson

Cheri Hobson has a diverse work experience in the field of civil engineering. Cheri started their career at Goba consulting engineers in 2011 as a Civil Engineer and worked there until 2013. After that, they joined Hatch in 2013 and remained there as a Civil Engineer until 2019. In 2019, they moved to Aurecon, where they initially held the position of Senior Civil Engineer and later got promoted to the role of Lead Civil Engineer.

Cheri Hobson completed their Graduate Certificate in Pavement Technology from the Centre for Pavement Engineering Education from 2021 to 2022, focusing on Pavement Engineering. Prior to that, they obtained a BSc Eng (Civil) degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Cape Town. In terms of additional certifications, Cheri is a Chartered Member of Engineering New Zealand : : Te Ao Rangahau, which they obtained in January 2020. Cheri is also a Professional Engineer certified by the Engineering Council of South Africa & Washington Accord, although the exact date of this certification is not provided.
