Mautasim Hussain

Mautasim Hussain has a diverse work experience across various biotechnology and healthcare settings. Mautasim started their career as a High School Math Teacher at the Institute of Knowledge in 2012. In 2013, they worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Ontario Healthcare Center and later transitioned to a similar role at Buena Park Nursing Center in 2014.

In the same year, they also interned as an Intraoperative Neurophysiological Monitoring Technician at Sentient Surgical Monitoring Systems. Continuing their career in healthcare, Mautasim worked as a Patient Care Technician at Concentric Healthcare Staffing from 2014 to 2016.

Mautasim also conducted a pilot study on the AHEAD platform for SARS-CoV-2 nanobodies and investigated the influence of endocytic membrane trafficking on Antisense oligonucleotide enhancement.

Most recently, Mautasim joined Aureka Biotechnologies, Inc. as an Associate Scientist in 2023.
