David Byrne is currently the Managing Director and Partner at Aurex Group, leading the Gas, Power, and Renewables portfolio in the Americas. Prior to Aurex Group, David worked as the Managing Partner at Ashland Consulting Group, focusing on sourcing and placing senior professionals in the energy and commodities markets. David also has experience as an Energy/Commodities Broker at BGC Convergence and Black Barrel. With a background in marketing from the University of Surrey, David has built a successful career in executive search and trading within the energy industry.
