Christopher Kakidas has a diverse work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Christopher started their career as a Product Development Intern at Cardinal Health, where they gained expertise in analyzing pharmaceutical and biological products. Christopher then worked at Brogan Pharmaceuticals as a Process Scientist, focusing on product development and manufacturing optimization. Christopher also served as an Assistant Formulation Development Scientist at Merck and conducted research as a Research Associate at Purdue University. Christopher joined Ei - A Pharmaceutical SolutionWorks™ as a Client-Facing Technical Project Lead, leading the development of topical drug products and generating significant revenue. At EnDev Laboratories™, they worked as a Project Manager, designing and managing development project timelines. Later, they joined Glenmark Pharmaceuticals as a Senior Project Manager, responsible for technology transfer. Currently, Christopher works at Aurinia Pharmaceuticals Inc. as an Associate Director, leading drug product development.
Christopher Kakidas has a diverse education history. Christopher obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Business Administration, Management, and Operations from Wake Forest University School of Business, where they studied from 2016 to 2018. Prior to this, they earned a Master of Science (MS) degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences with an interdisciplinary concentration from Northeastern University, where they studied from 2010 to 2013.
In 2008, Christopher pursued non-matriculated graduate studies in Pharmaceutical Engineering at the New Jersey Institute of Technology. Their undergraduate education was completed at Purdue University, where they received a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from 2001 to 2006.
Before entering higher education, Christopher attended Lake Central High School from 1997 to 2001 to obtain their high school diploma. It is worth noting that they also hold several certifications in various fields, including drug commercialization and product strategy, regulatory affairs for medical devices and pharmaceuticals, and lean principles, among others.
