Melissa Alban

Melissa Alban has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Melissa is currently working as an Executive Assistant to the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) and Head of Medical Affairs at Aurinia Pharmaceuticals Inc. Prior to this, they served as an Executive Assistant to the CMO at REGENXBIO Inc. from 2015 to 2022.

Melissa's previous experience includes working as a Senior Administrative Coordinator at AstraZeneca, where they provided administrative support to senior leaders in the Cardiology Vascular & Metabolic Disease team. Melissa also managed departmental budgets, organized meetings and events, and handled complex scheduling and travel arrangements.

Before their time at AstraZeneca, Melissa worked as an Administrative Assistant III at MedImmune, where they managed calendars and travel arrangements for a corporate development and ventures team. Melissa also organized a Venture Capital conference.

Prior to that, they served as a Client Advocate at Family and Children's Services of Central Maryland, Inc., raising awareness and funding for a non-profit organization and providing support to clients.
