Andrew Torres

Andrew Torres has a diverse work experience in the biotech and pharmaceutical industry. Andrew is currently working as the VP of CMC at Aurion Biotech since June 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Director of CMC Regulatory Affairs at Aurion Biotech from March 2023 to June 2023. Before joining Aurion Biotech, they served as a Senior Director at Molecular Templates from August 2022 to June 2023.

From February 2022 to August 2022, Andrew worked as a Senior Director at Neoleukin Therapeutics, and from March 2021 to February 2022, they held the position of Director of Manufacturing at Neoleukin Therapeutics. Andrew also gained substantial experience at Molecular Templates as the Director, CMC from August 2020 to March 2021 and as the Senior Manager, CMC from April 2019 to August 2020.

Additionally, they worked at Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, Inc. as the Senior Manager, Process Sciences Operations and Logistics from November 2017 to April 2019, and previously as the Manager, CMC Operations and Logistics from January 2016 to November 2017. Prior to their work in the biotech industry, Andrew was a Technology Development Manager at GE Ventures from December 2014 to January 2016. Andrew also worked as a Senior Scientist/Project Leader at General Electric Global Research from January 2010 to December 2014, and as a Lead Scientist from April 2002 to January 2010.

Andrew Torres received their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Chemistry and Biochemistry from Northwestern University. Andrew completed their doctoral studies from 1997 to 2002.
