Saba Kadlec

Saba Kadlec, MD, currently serves as a Consultant in Clinical Development, Clinical Field Training, and Medical Affairs at Aurion Biotech, focusing on advancing corneal transplantation through Corneal Cell Therapy since March 2024. Prior experience includes roles as Medical Director and Clinical Development Lead at REGENXBIO Inc., overseeing Phase II studies of gene therapy for neovascular AMD and Diabetic Retinopathy from November 2021 to July 2024. Saba has a strong background in ophthalmology with previous positions at Advocate Aurora Health, Holland Eye Surgery & Laser Center, and DuPage Medical Group. Saba obtained an MD from the University of Illinois College of Medicine and a BS in Biology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
