Chris Kent has extensive work experience in the funeral industry. Chris started their career at Aurora Casket Company in 1985 as a Programmer Analyst and later became the Director of Customer Care. In 2004, they worked part-time in Customer Retention/Research. Chris then moved to Aurora as the Manager of Sales Support, where they were responsible for sales training and support. In 2012, they joined Aurora Casket Company again and held several roles, including Sales Consultant, Customer Experience Manager, and Director of Customer Service. Chris is currently working as the Director of Customer Service and Inside Sales at Matthews Aurora Funeral Solutions since 2015, where their responsibilities include driving customer service excellence and leading the inside sales team.
Chris Kent attended Indiana University Bloomington from 1983 to 1984, majoring in Education. Subsequently, from 1984 to 1985, they pursued a degree in Computer Information Systems at Cincinnati State College, where they earned an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree. Lastly, from 1988 to 1991, Chris Kent attended Thomas More University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Computer Information Systems and Business Administration.
