Brian Potskowski

Brian Potskowski is the Head of Advisory at Aurora Energy Research, overseeing a team of over 30 advisors to support stakeholders in the UK and Ireland with the energy transition. Previously, Brian served as a Partner at Brunswick Group, co-heading the Climate Hub and advising senior executives on climate change and ESG strategies. Brian also held the position of Vice President at Riverstone Holdings, focusing on investment management in energy sectors and conducting thematic research on decarbonisation and climate policies. Brian's career began as a Senior European Power Analyst at New Energy Finance and as a Mergers & Acquisitions Analyst at Citi Global Markets, providing strategic advisory services in significant transactions. Brian earned a BA in Political Science from Tufts University, studied PPE at the University of Oxford, and obtained an MSc in Carbon Management from The University of Edinburgh.
