Ningzi Xia

Ningzi Xia is an experienced analyst currently working at Aurora Energy Research since April 2022. Prior to this role, Ningzi served as a Scientific Assistant at Fraunhofer-Institut für Solare Energiesysteme ISE from January 2020 to March 2022, where significant contributions included designing and conducting a quantitative economic impact analysis and a life cycle greenhouse gas emission analysis of the SinoTrough CSP project, as well as community and market acceptance studies. Previous experience includes an education internship at Wildbound, a departmental assistant role at Mount Holyoke College, an intern focused on Elwha River restoration at Olympic National Park, and a marketing internship at Solidaridad Network. Ningzi holds a Master of Science in Renewable Energy Engineering and Management from The University of Freiburg and a Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Studies and German Studies from Mount Holyoke College, complemented by an International Baccalaureate Diploma from Beijing National Day School.
