Emily Velazquez

Emily Velazquez started their work experience in 2008 as a Certification Project Manager at Quality Assurance International, Inc. (QAI) where they worked until 2013. In 2013, they joined Aurora Organic Dairy as a Senior Compliance Specialist and worked until 2016 when they became the Organic Compliance Manager. Emily recently transitioned to the role of Director of Organic Compliance in January 2021 at Aurora Organic Dairy.

Emily Velazquez obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art and Communications from Gonzaga University, where they studied from 2003 to 2007. In addition to their formal education, they have also obtained several certifications in organic inspection training. Emily completed the AGA Grassfed Dairy Inspection Training from the International Organic Inspectors Association in October 2018. Prior to that, Emily completed the IOIA Organic Livestock Inspection Training in May 2014 and the IOIA Organic Crop Inspection Training in September 2013.
