Michael Giles, Jr.

Michael Giles Jr. is an experienced educational leader currently serving as the Superintendent of Aurora Public Schools since June 2023. Additionally, Michael is an Equity and Leadership Consultant with Arrow Performance Group and has been affiliated with Pacific Education Group since November 2012. Previously, Michael held various roles within Cherry Creek School District from September 2014 to June 2023, including Assistant Superintendent of Equity, Culture, and Community Engagement, Assistant Superintendent of Performance Improvement, and Executive Director of Inclusive Excellence. Michael's earlier experience includes a principalship at Laredo Middle School and an assistant principalship at Cherry Creek School District. Michael earned a Master of Science in Educational Counseling from the University of Phoenix and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Anthropology from Colorado Mesa University.
