Cris Barrett

Cris Barrett is a seasoned human resources leader with extensive experience in talent management and organizational development across various industries. Currently serving as Senior Vice President of People at Aurora since February 2023, Cris previously held senior roles at AppliedVR, Facebook, and multiple other companies. At AppliedVR, Cris contributed to the development of FDA-approved virtual reality therapeutics. During tenure at Facebook, Cris scaled HR functions for Privacy & New Product Experimentation and Facebook Reality Labs, significantly growing team sizes and driving privacy-centered initiatives. Additional leadership roles include positions at Sequoia Consulting Group, Axcient, Outcast Media Holdings, and Clearwell Systems, contributing to organizational culture and growth through strategic HR practices. Cris holds a J.D. from the University of San Francisco School of Law and a B.A. in Political Science from UC Santa Barbara.
