Mark Karlstrand

Mark Karlstrand is a seasoned product leader with extensive experience in the security and technology sectors. Currently serving as a Product Leader at Aurora since May 2023, Mark focuses on securing the future of transportation. Prior to this role, Mark was a Principal Product Manager at Splunk, where leadership in developing and launching new security products resulted in significant improvements in time-to-value and total-cost-of-ownership. Mark's career includes consulting as a Product Manager at RSA, where the introduction of user and entity behavior analytics significantly enhanced the Advanced Security Operations business unit, along with tenures at Cisco Systems, Oracle, Bharosa Inc., Cabrillo College, and in freelance roles. With a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, Santa Cruz, Mark has contributed to numerous advancements in the electronic multimedia and security industries.
