Vamsi Gunturu

Vamsi Gunturu is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in the technology sector, currently serving as Vice President of Engineering at Aurora since December 2022. Previously, Vamsi held various leadership roles at VMware for over a decade, contributing significantly to the vSAN team since its inception. Earlier career experience includes positions at NetApp, where significant achievements in WAFL replication and scalability were realized, as well as progressive roles at Brocade, AMCC, Seagate, and IBM, focusing on software development and firmware engineering. Vamsi holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and a Master's in Mathematics from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, along with an MBA in Finance from The Wharton School.
