Sven Kastens

Sven Kastens is currently working as an Operations Manager at Aurubis, focusing on technology, projects, continuous improvement, and environmental protection in the secondary smelter. Prior to this role, Sven held positions as a Group Leader at the Institut für Mehrphasenströmungen and as a PhD student working on transport processes at fluidic interphases. Sven has also completed research internships at Kobe University and Purdue University. Sven holds a Dr.-Ing. in Verfahrenstechnik from Hamburg University of Technology, a Master of Science in Process Engineering from the University of Bremen, and a Bachelor of Science in Process Engineering from the same university.
