Penny Shield

Penny Shield is a highly experienced professional with a robust background in accounting and governance. Currently a Partner at Ernst & Young since February 2003, Penny also serves as a Director at Brisbane Powerhouse and holds positions as an Audit Committee Member for AusCycling and a Finance and Audit Committee Member for Cancer Council Queensland. Previously, Penny was a Director at Cycling Australia and a Board Member for the Brisbane Writers Festival. With early career experience as a Senior Accountant at PwC, Penny is a Fellow of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand and a Certified Internal Auditor. Educational qualifications include dual bachelor's degrees in Music and Accounting from The University of Queensland, along with a graduate degree from the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
