Niresh Deonarain

Niresh Deonarain is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the minerals and metals industry. Currently serving as President for the APAC and Africa regions at Ausenco since July 2016, Niresh has also held the position of Vice President for South America within the same company. Prior to Ausenco, Niresh worked as Technical Director for Process at Amec Foster Wheeler, managing various engineering studies across South America. Additional experience includes roles as Operations Manager at Nyrstar and Senior Metallurgist at Gold Fields Ltd. Niresh holds a BSc in Chemical Engineering from the University of KwaZulu-Natal and a BSc in Technology Management from the University of Pretoria.
