Penny Joseph

Penny Joseph is a highly experienced leader in climate resilience and adaptation, currently serving as the Director of the Climate Resilience Program at Ausgrid since May 2023. Prior to this role, Penny was the Head of Resilience and Climate Change Adaptation at Sydney Water from February 2013 to April 2023, where responsibilities included leading programs to prepare for climate change challenges and ensuring sustainable water sources. Additional roles at Sydney Water encompassed Strategic Programs Manager and Collaboration Lead for Greater Parramatta and the Olympic Peninsula, as well as Business Planning and Improvement Manager. Previous experience includes positions at Solahart Industries, The Boeing Company, and Airbus, showcasing a strong background in project management, business improvement, and strategic initiatives across various industries. Penny holds a Bachelor of Engineering from UNSW and an MBA from AGSM @ UNSW Business School, complemented by a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
