James di Trapani

James Di Trapani is an experienced technical leader in the telecommunications sector, currently serving as the Manager of Backbone & IP Edge Engineering at Aussie Broadband since October 2022. In this role, James is responsible for the architecture and engineering of key backbone and internet edge systems that manage over 3Tbps of ingress traffic across various client sectors. Prior to this, James worked at Over the Wire from December 2017 to October 2022, where responsibilities included serving as a Senior Network Engineer focused on the international MPLS backbone and IP network, as well as roles in network support engineering. James holds a Diploma of Information Technology in Networking and a Certificate II in Information Technology: Telecommunications from TAFE Queensland, along with additional certifications and qualifications in workplace practices and information technology from Mt Maria College.
