Joshua Spradlin

Naval Architect III

Joshua Spradlin is a skilled Naval Architect with extensive experience in various roles within the marine industry. Currently serving as a Naval Architect III at Austal USA since June 2019, Joshua has progressed through ranks from Naval Architect I to II. Prior to this role, Joshua worked as an Engineering Intern at CENTER-LIFT, INC., focusing on the launching and recovery plans for marine vessels, including a project involving the USS Sequoia. Experience also includes internships at MiNO Marine, LLC, and MURRAY & ASSOCIATES, LLC, where responsibilities encompassed deadweight surveys, design estimates, and assisting in the refurbishment of marine vessels. Earlier career experience includes positions in sales and fire alarm technology, alongside military service as a Corporal and Radio Operator with the 2nd Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion. Joshua holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from the University of New Orleans.
