Gavin Stewart

Gavin Stewart is an experienced professional in the shipbuilding and maritime support industry. Currently serving as the Executive General Manager of Strategic Shipbuilding at Austal since August 2023, Gavin previously held multiple roles at Naval Ship Management (Australia) from July 2017 to August 2023, including Vice President of In Service Support and General Manager. Prior to that, Gavin worked at Babcock International Group from September 2011 to July 2017 as Head of Operations, after initially serving as Ship Manager from July 2009 to May 2011. Gavin Stewart is focused on exploring surface ship opportunities to expand Babcock's footprint and grow future business in Australia. Educational background includes Lornshill Academy.
