Samuel Forde

Samuel Forde is an accomplished professional in the shipbuilding and defense sectors, currently serving as the Vice President of Australian Shipbuilding and Head of Programs at Austal since March 2021. Prior to this role, Samuel held multiple project management positions at BAE Systems, including Project Manager and Test and Trials Manager, where responsibilities included overseeing the delivery of Anzac Class Ships following the Anti-Ship Missile Defence upgrade. Additionally, experience includes a notable tenure in the Royal Navy, where Samuel progressed to the rank of Chief Petty Officer, specializing in the maintenance and repair of electronic and weapon systems. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Leadership and Management from Northumbria University, a Diploma in Project Management, and a Foundation degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Portsmouth.
