Eric Ikonne Drph, Tbri Practitioner

Eric Ikonne, DrPH, is an experienced educational leader currently serving as the Assistant Principal of Culture and Restorative Justice Coordinator at Austin Achieve Public Schools since October 2022. Previously, Eric worked at Wayside Schools from July 2019 to October 2022, holding positions as Assistant Principal, Dean of Students, and Physical Education Teacher, where a focus on school culture was emphasized. Experience also includes serving as Recreation Program Administrator at the Texas Juvenile Justice Department and as a Teaching Assistant at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth). Eric's background in public health education and promotion includes a Doctor of Public Health and a Master of Public Health from UTHealth, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from San Diego State University.
