Pat Connor

Pat Connor is currently serving as the Security and Safety Operations Manager at Austin Convention Center since May 2023. Previously, Pat Connor had a distinguished career at the Austin Police Department from February 2000 to May 2023, holding various leadership roles, including Police Commander, where responsibilities included overseeing homicide, robbery, aggravated assault investigations, and serving in Internal Affairs and Patrol divisions. Additional roles included Lieutenant positions supporting the Executive Staff, overseeing Organized Crime, and managing patrol operations, alongside foundational experience as a Sergeant and Police Detective. Pat Connor's education includes a Certified Public Manager degree and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Criminal Justice/Safety Studies, both from Texas State University.
