Drema Gross

Director, Customer Service Management at Austin Energy

Drema Gross has a diverse work experience, with a focus on utility management and conservation. Drema began their career in 1997 as an Account Manager at ICF International, where they provided support for energy efficiency programs. From 1999 to 2001, they served as a Marketing/Communications Specialist at TAC, promoting performance contracting to various customers. In 2002, they joined the City of Austin, where they held multiple roles within the Water Conservation Division, including Specialist, Coordinator, and Program Manager. Drema then became the Acting Supply Chain Division Manager for Austin Water in 2016, overseeing purchasing, warehouse, and fleet operations. In 2009, Drema became the Water Conservation Division Manager, managing a $6M division and implementing city-wide drought restrictions. Drema'smost recent role was at Austin Energy, where they served as the Director of Customer Service Management, responsible for two business units focused on customer solutions and assistance programs. In this position, they expanded emergency COVID-19 relief efforts and provided over $20M in bill assistance to qualifying customers.

Drema Gross obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Environmental Science & Policy and English from Duke University in 1997.
