Dr. Creslond Fannin

Executive Director of Early College Programs at Austin Independent School District

Dr. Creslond Fannin is the Executive Director of Early College Programs at Austin Independent School District. Dr. Fannin has dedicated their career to education, starting as a Developmental Studies Faculty at Dallas County Community College District in January 2005. In October 2010, Dr. Fannin became the District Director of College and Career Readiness/CTE/AVID/Counselors at Lancaster Independent School District where they remained until June of 2018. Dr. Fannin then took on the role of 1st Vice President at Ethiopian World Federation, Inc. from July 2007 to July 2016 before returning to the educational field as the Superintendent Intern at Manor ISD from September 2018 to August 2019.

Dr. Creslond Fannin attended Baylor University, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Media Studies. Dr. then attended Texas A&M University-Commerce, where they earned a M.Ed. in Secondary and Higher Education. Dr. Fannin also holds a Superintendent Certification from Region IV ESC - sbec, as well as a Certification in Family and Community Engagement from the Harvard University Graduate School of Education.

They work with Dr. Jimmy Bowser - Executive Director of Campus Support (Middle Schools), Dr. Sheila Henry - Executive Director of Campus Support (High Schools), and Lisa Bush - Director of Secondary Schools. Dr. Creslond Fannin reports to Dr. Laura Stout, Associate Superintendent of Secondary Schools.
