Noemí Madera

Noemí Madera, M.Ed, CMHC, currently serves as a Bilingual Counselor for the Austin Independent School District since July 2025, following a role as a Bilingual Mental Health Coach at Headspace from January 2023 to January 2025. Madera's experience includes working as a College Completion Coach at PelotonU and serving as an Academic Counselor at Unity Preparatory Charter School of Brooklyn. A former Graduate Research Assistant at The University of Texas at Austin, Madera contributed to the Culture, Identity, and Health Lab under Dr. Delida Sanchez and also held various roles within the Austin Independent School District, including Clinical Counseling Intern and Spanish Teacher. Madera's educational background includes a Master's degree in Educational Psychology with a focus on Counselor Education from The University of Texas at Austin.
