Austin Opera
Keely J Rhodes currently serves as the Coordinator of Vocal Studies at the University of South Carolina Aiken since August 2019. With extensive experience as a contract musician since 2002, Rhodes collaborates with various organizations, including The Kinnara Ensemble, Santa Fe Desert Chorale, Vox Humana Ens, Conspirare, Austin Lyric Opera, and TRUE CONCORD VOICES AND ORCHESTRA INC. Rhodes also held the position of Assistant Professor of Music and Director of Vocal Studies at Concord University from October 2011 to 2014. Academic achievements include a Doctoral degree in Music - Opera/Voice Performance & Pedagogy and a Master’s degree in Music - Vocal/Opera Performance from The University of Texas at Austin, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Music - Vocal Performance from Oberlin College.
