Stephanie Pace Smith

Stephanie Pace Smith currently serves as Co-Chair of Friends of the Opera at Austin Opera, where activities promote young arts enthusiasts in Central Texas through membership events and volunteer opportunities. Additionally, Stephanie is the President of the Austin Chapter of the Cal Alumni Association, overseeing a leadership team that organizes events for over 500 members. Past experiences include participating on the leadership team of Austin Ivy Plus, providing behavioral therapy at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Medicine, conducting research at The University of Chicago Urban Education Institute, and assisting research at the University of Washington Medical Center. Stephanie holds a B.A. in English from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Master of Arts in Education from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
