Jacob E. Knight

Jacob Knight is a graduate student pursuing a Master of Science in Management. He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing from Austin Peay State University in 2022.

Knight arrived at Austin Peay in August 2018 after being recruited to play clarinet in the Governors Own Marching and Pep Bands, where he served as president of athletic bands for the 2022-2023 academic year.

In addition to being a member of the university’s President’s Emerging Leaders Program, Knight was a founding member of the Honors and PELP Student Advisory Council, founded and served as president of Austin Peay’s Future Business Leaders of America-Phi Beta Lambda chapter, and is a member of the Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity. Knight has served five years as a member of the College of Business Student Advisory Council, including two terms as council chair. Knight was also elected Homecoming King in 2021.

Knight has been a student worker with several offices during his time at Austin Peay, including the Office of Housing, Residence Life & Dining Services, the Division of Student Affairs, Tri-County Upward Bound, and the Office of Student Success as an APSU, PELP, and Honors 1000 Peer Leader. Knight currently serves as the events and engagement graduate assistant for the Division of Alumni, Engagement, and Philanthropy.

Knight expects to graduate in August 2024.
