Ripa Chakravorty is a non-invasive cardiologist at Austin Regional Clinic since June 2022, with prior experience as an Assistant Clinical Professor at UT Health San Antonio from July 2018 to June 2022. Between June 2012 and June 2022, Ripa served as a PGY-1 intern at Texas Health Resources and contributed to cancer research as a Research Team Leader for the International Cancer Advocacy Network, overseeing a team focused on literature for cancer patients. Ripa also engaged in cardiovascular research as a post-doctoral research fellow at Texas Health Resources and UT Southwestern Medical Center, and participated in studies related to tuberculosis and infectious diseases at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Educational qualifications include an MD in Cardiovascular Disease from UT Health San Antonio, an MBBS from Medical College Baroda, and a Master of Health Science in Epidemiology from Johns Hopkins University.
