Diego Romero

Diego Romero has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Starting in December 2013, they worked as a Junior Software Engineer at Mercado Libre, gradually moving up to become a Senior Software Engineer. Diego also had a brief stint as an Assistant Professor at Universidad ORT Uruguay in 2020. From August 2020 to April 2022, they worked at PedidosYa, initially as a Senior Software Engineer and later as the Principal Software Engineer. In 2022, they joined Coinbase as a Software Engineer before becoming a Technical Lead at Howdy®. Currently, they are working as a Blockchain Developer at ChainSafe Systems starting from March 2023.

Diego Romero pursued their education at the Universidad Católica del Uruguay 'Dámaso Antonio Larranaga'. From 2012 to 2017, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, specializing in Computer Engineering. Following this, they continued their studies at the same institution and obtained a degree in Analyst in the field of Computer Engineering, graduating in 2022.
