Daphne Hiew

Daphne Hiew is currently serving as the Group Risk Business Partner at Australia Post since November 2025. Prior to this role, Daphne held several key positions, including People Risk Lead and Head of Privacy Operations at Woolworths Group, where responsibilities encompassed managing operational, strategic, and emerging risks as well as leading privacy initiatives. Additional experience includes a role as Director Cyber Risk and Governance at the Department of Transport, overseeing cyber risk management, and serving as Information Security & Privacy Officer at Nous Group, focused on operational risk and compliance. Previous roles at Telstra involved senior positions in privacy management and communications for cyber security, with notable achievements in authoring the inaugural Telstra Yearly Threat Report and managing a significant cybersecurity awareness campaign. Early career experience included communications roles at the Department of Defence. Daphne holds an MBA, a Bachelor of Laws, and a Bachelor of Arts from Monash University.
