Kristy Barker

Kristy Barker is a multi-talented professional with extensive experience in the music and wildlife industries. Since December 2015, Kristy has been a DJ at Kritty, known for a genre-fluid and eclectic style that emphasizes high-energy club tracks. In addition to DJing, Kristy works as an Australian and Asian Mammal Keeper at Australia Zoo Pty Ltd, while also serving as a writer for the club music label NLV Records since November 2017. Kristy has contributed to inthemix Australia as a freelance writer for Junkee Media since August 2015 and has held various roles in the broadcasting sector, including a casual producer at the Australian Broadcasting Corporation's triple j from September 2016 to March 2019, and a casual presenter for triple j Unearthed. Other relevant experiences include talent scouting for Future Classic and co-founding We Snitched, a writing platform. Previously, Kristy managed office operations for Macro Music, supporting artists like Seth Sentry and Dune Rats.
