Sumari van Zyl

Sumari Van Zyl is an experienced data analyst currently working with the Queensland Catholic Education Commission since September 2023. Prior to this role, Sumari held a position as a data reporting analyst at Acoem from October 2022 to September 2023, while also contributing as a zoo keeping volunteer at Australia Zoo since September 2022. Earlier experience includes serving as an administrative assistant in Surgery and Peri-operative Services from January 2021 to October 2022 and as a food service worker at Royal Brisbane & Women’s Hospital from February 2018 to January 2021. Additionally, Sumari worked as a residential assistant at The Women's College - UQ in 2018, providing care to students and completing Mental Health First Aid training. Sumari holds a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and a Bachelor of Science in Ecology from The University of Queensland, earned between 2016 and 2020.
