Holly Nott GAICD has extensive work experience in the media industry. Holly started their career at Australian Associated Press (AAP) in 2000 as a General Reporter and went on to hold various roles within the organization, including Deputy Sydney Bureau Chief, Perth Bureau Chief, and Sydney Bureau Chief. During their time at AAP, Holly also worked as a Major Projects & Multimedia Editor, Special Events Editor, and Managing Editor. Their most recent position at AAP is Director of Editorial Partnerships, which they assumed in July 2022.

In addition to their work at AAP, Holly has also worked as a Journalism Lecturer and Tutor at the University of Technology Sydney and as a Presenter at the Australian Writers' Centre.

Holly Nott GAICD completed the Company Directors Course at the Australian Institute of Company Directors in 2023. In the same year, Holly also obtained a certification in Cultural Inclusion: First Nations Course from the SBS Inclusion Program.
