Bonnie Powell

Bonnie joined ABGF as former executive from venture backed Vancouver-based fintech start-up, Bench Accounting. Prior to the last half decade in fintech, she worked in mining, management consulting and the Winter Olympic Organising Committee in Vancouver, Canada. She is a member of ABGF’s Talent & Capability Team.

As Vice President of People at Bench Accounting, Bonnie was a key member of the executive team, scaling the business by over 500 people through Series B and C fundraises. Bonnie has over 17 years of global experience in the People & Culture space with a deep passion for creating workplaces where people can show up as their true and authentic best selves. She’s dedicated to creating high performing, diverse, inclusive and cohesive teams, by cultivating psychologically safe workspaces.

Bonnie lives on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland with her husband, two children and Cavoodle. She loves playing at the beach with her children and enjoying the warm year-round sunshine after spending over a decade in Vancouver’s cooler-climate.
