Catherine Newington is an experienced ICT Educators’ Specialist at ACS - The Professional Association for Australia's ICT sector since January 2018, where Catherine leads a program to support the implementation of the Digital Technologies Curriculum across Australia and has developed various educational resources. Prior to this role, Catherine served as a Classroom Teacher and Digital Education Leader at Sacred Heart Primary from 2013 to January 2018, focusing on integrating iPads to enhance student learning and empowering teachers in mobile technology usage. Catherine's earlier experience includes positions as a Supply Teacher at DJM Personnel in the UK from January 2010 to February 2012, and as a Classroom Teacher at St Patrick's Primary School from 2005 to 2009. Catherine holds a Master of Education in Digital Technology from Monash University and a Bachelor of Education in Primary Teaching from Australian Catholic University.
