Karen Cohen is a seasoned professional in the fields of human resources, community building, and operations consulting, with a focus on blockchain and emerging technologies. As the Founder and Director of Emerging Tech HUB since May 2017, Karen has collaborated with notable clients including the Algorand Foundation and Blockchain Australia. In addition, Karen established Women in Emerging Tech Australia in January 2020 to promote women's involvement in technology discussions. Current roles also include Chairperson of the National Blockchain Committee at the Australian Computer Society since May 2023, Principal Consultant at TalentCode HR, and Program Facilitator at the Australian HR Institute. Previous experience includes founding AlgoHUB, serving as Community Champion for the Algorand Foundation, and leading significant initiatives for the Prime Minister and Cabinet's Office for Women. Karen holds a BSc in Economics from Monash University and a Grad Dip in HR from Victoria University.
