Ryan Ko is a distinguished academic and leader in cybersecurity, serving as the Chair Professor and Founding Director of the UQ Cyber Research Centre at The University of Queensland since February 2019, along with various influential roles including Chair of the Academic Board and Deputy Head of School for External Engagement. Additionally, Ryan Ko contributes globally as a Fellow of the Australian Computer Society and the Queensland Academy of Arts and Sciences, and as a Committee Member for ISO International Organization for Standardization, focusing on IT security standardization.
